高雄市政府社會局目前已培訓520位坐月子服務員，可讓孕媽咪有「坐月子到宅服務」的優質服務，每位服務員都須接受240小時專業訓練，服務員到府提供客製化服務，協助婦嬰照護、坐月子餐點製作、簡易家事等，讓辛苦的孕媽咪，產後能充份休息調養身體。
社會局與高雄市立中醫院合作，考量每位孕媽咪身體狀況不一，提供使用坐月子到宅服務的孕媽咪，享有3次免費把脈看診及開立進補藥材等服務，並由醫院醫師群指導服務員認識中藥材等專業課程，整備服務員專業知能，利於提供最到位的服務。以剛產下寶寶的育冠媽咪而言，因不知道如何選擇中藥材進補，此項服務正好解決她的困擾，讓她安心在家調養身體。
服務3年多的坐月子服務員智柔，勤於進修，擁有中餐丙級證照及保母證照，顛覆傳統的坐月子模式，注重補充蔬果、鈣質與蛋白質，並細心瞭解育冠媽咪的體質，搭配中醫生開立的藥材，結合港式、義式料理，兼具美味與養生概念，烹煮出創新坐月子餐點-木瓜起司蘑菇盅，讓育冠媽咪難以忘懷，一想到口水都流出來了。另外，針對身體僵硬的孕媽咪，教導產後修復身心的腹部呼吸及頭頸部緩和運動，減輕生產時所造成的身體不適，幫助育冠孕媽咪修復身心。
高雄市政府社會局提供優質且平價的坐月子到宅服務，第一胎及第二胎新生兒之父母，可選擇不領取生育津貼6,000元，轉為享用免費48小時(價值12,000元)坐月子到宅服務，需要更多服務時數者，可選擇其他優惠專案。
